Fully Funded Online Master’s Scholarships in Sustainable Development for Afghan Women at the University of Sussex

Afghan women now have a unique opportunity to pursue a world-class education through a fully funded online Master’s program in Sustainable Development offered by the University of Sussex—a global leader in international development studies. This initiative comes at a critical moment, aiming to support talented Afghan women who have faced significant educational barriers in recent years.

Eligibility Criteria This scholarship is designed for Afghan women who meet the following conditions:

• Must hold a valid Afghan national ID.

• Must have received an offer of admission for the online MSc in Sustainable Development starting in September 2025.

• Priority will be given to:

• Applicants currently living in Afghanistan.

• Those who do not already hold a Master’s degree.

• Women who have never studied abroad.

What the Scholarship Covers Successful applicants will receive:

• A full waiver of tuition fees for the entire program.

• A £1,000 stipend to help cover costs related to internet access and computer equipment.

Who is Not Eligible You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are applying to a different university, or You are applying to any other program at the University of Sussex besides the online MSc in Sustainable Development.

• Prepare and submit the following documents by the deadline of 31 July 2025 at 23:59.

• Proof of nationality, residence, and sex.
