With over sixteen alumni now admitted to global universities or actively pursuing their dream majors, Kaaj is more than a bridge to education, it's a launchpad for transformation. Our mission is clear: to empower girls in Afghanistan with the resources, tools, and mentorship they need to excel in international academic environments.
Malika Atayee: From Kabul to Madrid Among our 2023 cohort, Malika Atayee shines as a testament to resilience and ambition. Now studying Computer Science on a fully funded scholarship in Madrid, Malika reflects on her journey with gratitude and inspiration.
“Kaaj supported me during one of the most important phases of my life,” she says. “With the help of inspiring mentors like Mr. Sakhi Ataye, Ziafatullah Saieedi, Ali Sina Dosti, Abdullah Nazari, Ehsanullah Dehzad, and others, I received life-changing opportunities from universities around the world. To every girl reading this, I want to say that your dreams are powerful. No matter where you start, with hard work and the right guidance, you can go far. Just believe in yourself and never give up.”
Turning Challenges Into Strengths Another Kaaj alumna, Amina Painda, now studying at DePaul University, captured the essence of her journey simply but powerfully: “Kaaj helped me turn challenges into strengths and ideas into action.”
Designing a Future in Creativity and Global Languages Zahra Amiri, a Kaaj graduate, is currently pursuing Visual Communication Design at Jakarta International University in Indonesia. Her passion for creativity found the right outlet thanks to the support systems Kaaj provides. Similarly, Asma Tawana is preparing for undergraduate studies at the Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh, a significant step for a young woman who once only dreamed of international education. Sadiqa Sakhi, another determined alumna, is studying Chinese Language in Weinan, China. Her journey shows the diverse academic pathways Kaaj students are taking, each one aligned with personal aspirations and global relevance.
Kaaj Education’s success lies in its holistic approach, offering programs that support both personal and academic growth. Through capacity building in interpersonal skills and well-being, educational courses in English, digital literacy, and academic writing, a rich resource hub with tutorials and scholarships, and step-by-step guidance in university applications including TOEFL and Duolingo prep, Kaaj empowers Afghan girls to thrive globally. Despite ongoing challenges, Kaaj remains steadfast in its mission, ensuring every girl has the opportunity to study, grow, and lead, planting seeds of hope one success story at a time.
